======================================================================= Title : Flying Dog Fish's Death Match DooM II. series Version # : 1.64 (21st April 1999) seems final Filename : FDF.WAD Author : Flying Dog Fish (alias Marko Kavcic) Email Address : flyingdogfish@yahoo.com URL : http://www.flyingdogfish.org Misc. Author Info : A student of computer and information science living in Ljubljana, Slovenija. Check his Home Page (above) for more info. The purpose : After killing and being killed for the millionth time in the boring and DeathMatch unfriendly original Doom II worlds (except maps 1,3 and 7) and not being very successful in searching the internet for really good Doom II Deathmatch levels, the author decided to make his own series. This wad file is the result at the moment. Watch out for new levels. Description : A series of 18 DeathMatch levels in various styles for various tastes. Especially designed for super fast DeathMatch with two players in mind. This means: - all weapons on each level (some harder to find), - small enough levels to meet the other player(s) in a reasonable time, - only a few monsters to spice up the game, so don't turn them off. Level 1 : Nazi Death Match Kill some nazi soldiers while looking for your opponent(s). Level 2 : Death Match with Keen Keen is dead and hanged. Who will join him? Monsters might aid your cause in this world. Level 3 : Flying Dog Fish's Home Death Match Hide behind the refrigerator, get some plasma on the toilet, some health in the bathroom, jump over the balcony and fill the place up with dead marines. (the model for this one was the author's apartment) Level 4 : Warehouse Death Match This is a good place to store anything, especially the dead bodies of your enemies. Level 5 : Town Death Match Bring some action and death to a boring little town. Level 6 : Castle of the Death Match Wake this long forgotten miniature castle up by filling it with the broken bodies of you enemies. Level 7 : Death Match Hotel Make sure no one checks out of this hotel alive. Level 8 : Death Match Labyrinth Don't get lost in this labyrinth or you will lose your life repeatedly. Level 9 : Faculty of Death Match Science Get a degree in Death Match Science. Beware of the nasty goat-door-keeper. (the model was the building of the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana) Level 10 : Dirty Water Death Match This water is dirtier than anything you've ever seen before, but there is nothing you can do about it. The only thing you can do is make everything else dirty by filling it up with your opponent's body parts and blood. Level 11 : Rocky Village Death Match Abandoned caves in green rocks surrounding a pool of lava need to be filled with screams, blood, not to mention roasted, chopped and perforated bodies. Level 12 : Giant Snowflake Death Match Inside this snowflake-shaped complex there is everything you need to wipe out an entire village. Use it to make your opponent reincarnate in a marine. Repeat. Level 13 : Death Match 4U 4 "U"s surrounded by radioactive slime are counting on you to feed them with some fresh blood. Level 14 : Islands in the Slime Death Match Make your opponent(s) fall in the slime anyway you can (punch, shoot, saw) or just kill him the same way, but make sure you don't fall in yourself. Kill John Romero to exit. Level 15 : Bloodfalls Death Match Can you add your opponents blood to all the blood that pours through the walls making bloodfalls and flows all around this level? Shoot the exit door to open it. Level 16 : Death Match Triangles The triangles in question need to be filled with dead bodies very badly. Be sure it's filled with your opponent(s) bodies and not yours. Level 17 : Smiley Death Match Don't smile until you get enough frags inside this gigantic smiley with a pierced nose and glasses. 8+) Level 18 : Backyards Death Match Three connected backyards await to see you getting matched to death. Use stairs, elevators or teleports to get to the weapons. The story : You were bored. So you and your buddies decided to call the spirits of DooM II. You sat around a stone table under the cloudless sky and stars in the picnic area at midnight, holding each others arms and mumbling some mystical words. Suddenly a lightning crossed the sky and almost at the same time the thunder made you deaf for a moment. It was very close. Then a blue ball of fire appeared from the sky. It fell in the middle of the stone table, broke in as many pieces as there were people around it, and each piece hit one of you before you could run away and you all lost consciousness. When you woke up you found yourself in a strange new world. Now you will never be bored again until you get bored of not ever being bored again. You entered the world of Flying Dog Fish's Death Match DooM II.
